Town and Country’s August Auction proved to be another successful national online auction with over £10.1m in properties sold.
Over the course of the month, we listed a range of properties, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and vacant land across the UK.
The auction garnered significant attention from buyers across the country, eager to participate in the highly competitive bidding process. The allure of the properties on offer, resulted in a fierce competition among potential buyers.
Auction Highlights
We saw competitive bidding in Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire Auction. The property received a total of 11 bids and achieved £170,000 – £35,000 over the Guide Price.
London Road offered investors an excellent opportunity, currently a 6 bed HMO with an annual rent of £41,000.
The property sold at the London Auction for £375,000.
Elm Street featured in our North East Auction and was snapped up by a buyer prior to the auction.
The North Wales, Chester, and Oswestry Auction generated considerable pre-auction interest in Carreg Afon Bach. This charming three-bedroom detached cottage, set in a stunning location, was sold before the auction took place.
An excellent investment opportunity featured in the North West Auction, generating £5,400 per annum and sold for £8,500.
A fantastic investment opportunity was bought prior to the Scotland Auction. Producing a current rent of £420pcm which could potentially achieve £550pcm and sold prior for £35,000.
Kingsholme, Bournemouth sold post Auction for £144,000. A top floor apartment in a popular area.
The South Wales Auction saw significant interest in Waterloo Road. The property was bought prior to the Auction. A 3 bedroom detached with good access to the M4 motorway.
We saw competitive bidding on Michael Road in the Yorkshire Auction. A total of 9 bids was received and the property sold for £70,000.
